*fave'd* ... and I'm inclined to vote for the latter, being in that dreaming position myself most nights {grin}
Usually Autumn is used to evoke melancholy, but you're doing so far more subtly here with Spring and the early buds. They help to add weight to her contemplative mood. So does the smooth elegance of her wings — being windblown wouldn't work here.
I'm not really inclined to think of the dilemma here as "angel versus human," but to see her as a winged human — on, perhaps, a slightly skewed alternate Earth, as to evolution — who is thinking deeply about her life and her choices.
It's my foible of perception, and it's why I'll be collecting this as being among my favorite "Winged Realistic " works.

This is just lovely, the whole thing is so soft and pretty that it looks like a painting. The two-toned wings give it something different and make it stand out.
