Abilities: Vas, other then the ability to fly thanks to his wings, is skilled in shadow manipulation as well as influencing shadow creatures. Unknown to most, Afric is actually linked to Vas. Vas doesn't even know why this happened, but he's not complaining. Because of his shadow powers, Vas is able to conceal himself in shadows rendering him invisible to the naked eye. This power ONLY works in the dark. Artificial light isn't very affective in unveiling him, but bright lights(such as LED lights) and natural sun will dispel the shadow effect.
Due to Vasilis' ability to manipulate shadows, he has little use for weapons, as his shadows can form to any shape he wishes. He prefers one long staff like shadow with blades formed on the ends as his main fighting utensil, but only uses it when the situation is serious. He much prefers to simply use the shadows as piercing mechanisms or whips. The shadows much connect to him and be in constant link to shadows. Vas's shadows can stretch as long as another shadow is present. Thus when a bright light is shun, the shadow will disappear.
This shadow power can also allow him to cast his appearance elsewhere and make himself appear very large. Basically, he can make mirages of himself as long as the lighting is appropriate. The darker the better.
Vas also has the ability to silence. Though he loves sounds (such as music and bells), he's able to silence an area around him. There will be no noise emitted by him, and people within the radius will not be able to make a sound. It's basically disabling all hearing in the area. No one can hear you scream, no sound recorder will pick a thing up, no alarm will be heard. The only drawback of this power is it's very draining of Vas's energy. He only uses it in short bursts to hide his footsteps or a crashing sound, or in the midst of a difficult battle. This silence can often disorientate the opponent which can be very useful.
After training the power, Vas has managed to silence all but allow his voice to be heard. If combined with his shadow casting, Vas has the ability to play huge mind games.
Though he's not skilled at it, Vas is learning how to use an echo-location like ability. Much like a bat, he can pick up the location of a creature or the space around him due to the ability to pick soundwaves by concentrating and listening. He can't emit soundwaves himself yet, but he's trying to figure a way. For now he relies on a dog whistle. At his current skill level, Vas can't 'see' more then 10 feet away from him while 'viewing' his surroundings, but he can locate a moving creature up to 30 feet away. This is, of course, only when he's activley paying attention.
Personality: Vasilis is a rather intelligent individual, but has a habit to slack off. Though he is smart, he doesn’t show it. He can be very forgetful and clumsy. He’s rather calm and accepting, but can get hotheaded when the right button is pushed. He feels the need to compete, even if there is no real competition in place. He’s very defensive of himself and people close to him, but only the people close to him. He can easily get into trouble, but has a way of always getting out of it. He prefers to not have attention brought to him when unwanted, but he does love to have attention when he desires to have attention. He can be a leading individual, but won’t step up to the plate unless he’s given the opportunity or no one else will rise to the occasion. Vasilis is a great strategist, and has plenty of fighting spirit, but lacks the ability to do so. He loves violence and playing mental games, and get’s quite happy at the sight of blood. Don’t be surprised if he giggles like a school girl. He loves seeing strangers in pain, but hates it with a passion if his close ones are in real pain (Unless he inflicts it as a prank or something of the sort).
Likes: Spicy stuffs[including girls], jingly noises such as bells or bangle bracelets, and annoying the piss out of people. He has an obsession with piercings. He’s a schmuck for baked goods such as cookies, muffins, breads, etc. And sweet black tea. He seems to enjoy aging people on. He likes to start arguments and then proceed to stump the victim. If there is a fight followed, even better.
Dislikes: Things that make him unhappy. Go figure. More specifically, things that make him uncomfortable… And pissy. Even more specific, the sun, unbearable cold (He’s more of a summer person), prissy girls, uber-fan girls, and silence(He loves to have some sort of noise, be in a bell or music. History: Vasilis is not a very old MC. He is actually 24. His parents were very old and skilled MC's and Vas loved them dearly. They taught them what they could, training him since he was small. Vas's parents had high expectations for him since he was small. They raised him learning the best studies, brought him up to be whimsical and artistic, but most of all they trained his MC powers. Vas learned basic MC powers, but there was a limit to what his parents could teach him about his shadow manipulation, as neither of them had that skill. They all in all forced him into MC academy. Being as passive with his parents decisions as he's always been, Vas is now in the academy.
Other: Vasilis has a little friend. People, meet Afric. Afric… tits or gtfo. Kidding. Afric is a little shadow creature Vas randomly came across one day. For some reason, she started to follow Vas around. He was annoyed at first, for the little shit can be annoying as hell. He pretended to ignore her to get rid of her, but she follows him like a loyal puppy. She ends up helping him, too. The bugger doesn’t speak English, more so she makes random noises that Vas seems to understand. She’s never away from his side. Ever. If it seems like she’s not there, she’s probably his shadow. Take a look behind him. If his shadow is darker than normal, that’s her. She seems to take after Vas by adoring to piss people off. She also seems to be able to collect souls or hold them. She's Vas's little soul storage container. She's also only 8.5 inches tall.
Colour and Sun: Vas has a less than reasonable colour and sun allergy. Colour can kill him fast and it is extremely painful to him. In initial contact with colour, Vas get's a shart stabbing pain. After a short piriod of roughly 30 seconds, it starts to feel as though Vas's skin is being shredded. His skin cells move violently under contact with the sun and move independently in every direction, causing his skin to rip itself apart. Vas starts to bleed if the colour is left on and if he is unable to get the colour off, it has the potential of causing deep gouges in his body. Sun is catastrophic. He is extremely sensitive to it and is burning within seconds. If fully exposed to sun, he will be burnt to a crisp in less than two minutes. It's very rare for Vas to have any sort of colour near him.

FUN FACTS
-Vas can actually fly
-Vas's wingspan is 15 Ft.
-He has very thin bones to allow him to fly. Larger bones like the femer and tibia are hallow. The combunation of thin bones and hollow bones are what make Vas so light in proportion to his size.
-His bones are more breakable than a normal bone.
-He's trained to be defensive to avoid getting more broken bones thus is quick.
-His wing membrane is very flexible, soft and sensitive. It nicks and tears easily, like a bat, but also heals quickly. There would likely be piercings through the membrane if it were not so easily torn.
-Hooks on wings are very VERY sharp and strong. (Also very useful to cling onto walls and cliffs. o-o )
-Vas has BAD eyesight but wears contacts.
-He has glasses but doesn't like wearing them.
-He has great hearing.
-Has a total of 7 piercing. Guess where the last two are. |3 (Tongue and right nipple piercing)
-His pupils are slit like a cat
