The skin looks very rubbery and somewhat loose.
This is a very interesting design for Giegue, definitely. It's nice and simple, and it looks like the sprite.
Giegue looks like he's about to put his wrists on his hips and give someone an angry talking to, like a ticked-off mother or something.
Also, if you haven't played Mother, you should try it. It is really quite fun, and YouTube videos aren't really the same as actually playing it. I'm not trying to pressure you or anything; the only ways to play it nowadays are either expensive and hard-to-find or illegal, after all.
I went with Mother 1+2 and Mother 3; they're both for GBA and with 1+2 you get two games in one, which is pretty awesome, but they are in Japanese, which can be hard on people completely unfamiliar with the language.
