This couple is so in tune with the new order. Wonderful drawing Jamie!
His dress and earrings are particularly exquisite, but it is the facial expressions that I find
most intriguing. The manwife is projecting a submissive desire to make the new family portrait one that his husband approves of. She has a little smirk on her face that announces her dominance. She wears the pants in this family in many different ways.

I LOVE this picture! You continue to grow as an artist. Your "female males" are becoming more attractive and softer – lovely! I particularly like this picture because the boywife's clothes and hairstyle are chic and modern. I also love the way he's holding his husband's arm in a warm, submissive way. The only picture of yours that I like as much are the husband & boywife in "Young Couple," where again the male is holding the female's arm in a wifely way. I also like how the boywife is holding his dress, a very feminine gesture. I'd love to see more couples like these.

PS - I realize that your art is about men and women who have traded gender but not bodies. However, do the males have to be so MUCH bigger than the females?

Your drawing says so much about their relationship.
I love the way he holds onto her arm. Despite their relative sizes,she has so much more authority. His diffidence is priceless. And his top is lovely.
