I like this version better, I like the softness to it, it's beautiful, both are, but I like the soft tones to this..

Hmm theres stuff i liek about this one more than your newer one, and stuff I like less...
I dunno what it is, but somehow this one looks a little more realistic in terms of skin tones and shading. Up close the skin looks more washed out, but overall better. her expression's much calmer too- I also prefer the shape of her face in this. THe collar on her shirt is better shaded.
On the other hand, while the lips look more appealing in this, they have more detail in the other. The hair, while having a nicer color, also isnt as detailed as the new one. The eyes are slightly better in the new one as well.
I dunno, overall I prefer this version

Wow. Just wow. It's simply amazing how someone can just "paint" this in photoshop. You used lines, didn't you? It would be incredibly hard to just start using the airbrush and have nothing to guide you along. The hair....the face.....the lips...the scarf....everything has it's exact texture. This is just so awesome.....it looks like you used a good-quality camera, took a picture, and touched it up a tad in an imaging program. How long do you believe it took you to do this? The hair is very soft, as it's not too shiny, and it looks smooth enough to reach out and touch. The skin has very nice lighting on it, as well. But she looks kind of tired, as under her eye it looks a bit dark. But that's just me. She's in a cold environment stuck with a hard decision; you would think she'd have red cheeks. The lips are probably the most amazing thing on here. The small amount of shine is just enough to hint that she might have lip balm on, trying to keep her lips from getting chapped. On the scarf, however, it has no shine. That's perfect! The work on that part seems like you used an actual photo. I bet you did. If not, then it must have taken ages to do one thing at a time. I am definately adding this to my favorites. Your work is simply amazing to me.
