Yeah! Although it was quite possibly one of the best last words ever.
Good and bad is a matter of viewpoint. He was only allied with the Empire because he thought that a strong unified galaxy was needed to defend against the Yuuzhan Vong. On that note, the Empire was only evil because it had Palpatine at the head. I don't see Thrawn as bad, in fact I see him as a protector of all life and cultures who doesn't hesitate to make cold decisions to achieve that.
Also, he did have a plan to come back 10 years after his death (see Hand of Thrawn).

i'm reading the book with the Hand of Thrawn now. i just Wookieepediaed it and saw it had cloning tanks. to bad he didn't do it to himself.

Well, him being so cute... I love the pic; I just meant that Thrawn likely would have boggled at being depicted so cutely. (If he was real, I mean. And now I'm thinking - if Thrawn could understand alien cultures via studying their art, what would he have thought of us based on chibi portraits of himself?)
