I have to say, this picture is beyond adorable. The characters, and the situation that you set up is like something straight out of a children's story or an animated feature. Tying the whole thing together is a smart palette choice of greens and oranges.
What makes this picture for me are the character's expressions, they're really subtle, but you can almost hear the faerie warning the insects to stay away, and the faces on the bugs themselves are too cute for words. I see a bit of "Mario Bros." influence on the caterpillars actually, which is not a bad thing.
The posing of the faerie is a bit stiff, especially when guarding what appears to be a very tasty snack, and she doesn't look completely "connected" to the branch, a problem that I face quite a bit myself when it comes to setting subjects in their environments.
The Background of this piece is very nice as well, and it does a good job at keeping the overall style of the picture. I especially love the fruit, and how you staggered them (am I going a bit crazy, or do they have faces too? If so, then you get extra points in my book. )
The roundness of the background fits with the roundness of the designs, making it a very balanced picture, and a joy to look at. Keep up the good work!

Vision: The layout and overall design of the picture is wonderful! All the little details are just lovely and can easily tell what what is going on. Also, I adore how you achieved depth and perspective by using the little hanging oranges!
Originality: There have been literally hundreds of thousands of little fairy illustrations floating around here, but you managed to still make it interesting by putting personal touches into it...really stands out from a lot of other pics like these!
Technique: Love your smooth coloring and shading! Really adds warmth to the image!
Impact: Just an adorable sweet picture!Catches the viewer's eye right away!!
