Kaiba always knew Pegasus was hitting on him...I've got to give props to this girl, she was so funny as Pegasus, it was alot of fun running into her. This was taken during Anime St. Louis 2008

I don't have any ideas for who to cosplay (plus I can't afford to make a costume), but I should totally go to a convention to get my picture taken with my favorite characters. (Actually, now that I think about, I might be able to pull off Dinosaur Ryuuzaki...)

You'd be surprised, sometimes costumes don't cost all that much, it usually comes down to experience in knowing where to shop and what you need and that sort of thing. Comes with practice mostly, but I always say go for it and see what you can do 
Also, going to conventions is fun whether in cosplay or not!
