Description Will I ever stop photographing this incredible tree? No, and you can't make me  . This was taken on the barely-trodden Discovery Island Trails. These are two trails that run right up to and underneath the tree of life. If you've ever seen It's Tough to Be a Bug, you actually exit on one of those trails, halfway down. The exit generally flows up and out by the bridge to Asia but it is possible to go the other way and end up by the bridge to Africa. Similarly, on the other side of the tree there runs a path that spits out by the entrance to It's Tough to be a Bug and enters in behind the carving that says Tree of Life Garden. Going up underneath the tree is incredible and gives a great sense of wonder and awe at the magnificence of this icon. My personal favorite of the two trails is the on that houses the exit to It's Tough to be a Bug. This one runs right by the Discovery River and is a very peaceful and calm part of the park. The views are magnificent, the atmosphere is serene and it's the best place to really take in the natural beauty and scale of the whole park. Though this particular picture was taken on the other trail.

As you look up at the tree, it's incredible how many animals you can see all woven into this swirling tapestry of life. I am still spotting new animals nearly every time I visit the park and needless to say I've been a time or two . There are over 325 animals in this creation and it's truly breathtaking how they all harmoniously dance together within these carvings!
