Holding the door open for someone.There is a certain art that goes into being just a little bit of a gentleman, one thing someone can do is open the door for another person. Holding the door open for another person is very blind to who it applies to, the person you open the door for doesn't have to be an old man with a cane, a pretty girl, or a mother with a child in her arms.
The person you open the door for, can literally be anyone. It can be your friend, or your mother, or your neighbor, or even the crazy guy who lives in a tree. Literally anyone.
Holding the door open for someone shows that you care about other people just a little bit, which is more then I can say for a lot of people. It also shows the people you hold the door open for that you are a courteous person.
It also leaves a first good impression on people you don't really know yet, which is another good way to think about it. The person you open the door for may just be the person you become friends with down the line.
But that is just some food for the mind I suppose... and another one of my tips.
