You didn't need to get all fussy about my comment. You need to relax. I still don't think it is a big deal. It's just a coincidence, I don't think it deserves a daily deviation. It's my opinion. Deal with that and don't tell other people to grow up. Because you might be to one needing to do that. I accept others opinions but that doesn't mean I need to agree with them and don't say what I think. Are we cleared? Thanks.

Oh yes they are. Daily Deviations is to reward if not the best works, the ones that are impressive and deserves attention.

no. a DD is not an award. it's a feature. mods feature them, they are either chosen by them or suggested by others as i previously stated. it's not a popularity contest.

I didn't say it was an award, I said it is to reward, not giving a premium but saying congratulating you for doing a good job (it could go both sides, you know?). And I know it's a feature (featuring is rewarding), but for something to deserve a feature needs to be extraordinary.
I'm not saying this is a bad photo, I'm saying that I don't find that impressive to deserves a DD. And that's been happening a lot and I'm not the only one with this opinion. But maybe we (the ones who think anyone can now get a DD) ask too much. When I see a DD I like to be in awe and say: "That's brilliant! I wish I could have done/think of that".
Now to the artist: I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. I didn't meant to. I prefer saying what I think instead of lying. As I said, I don't think your photos aren't good. Just not good enough for a DD, well this one. You're a good observer, I congratulate you for that. I would give you more easily a DD for this one: [link] or this: [link] because it involved some thinking and it critiques the world we're living and its society. And I think that's more important that patience and a bit of luck. Sorry to all the ones that think differently.
