Wildfire + Killian Tributes (Daius 1/3)    Though it was still early in the morning, the intense summer heat was already beginning to set in. Stryx from all over began flocking together in large numbers as the sun rose over the horizon, meeting and socializing together in a large valley. A strong wind gusted through the canyon as light began to trickle in. Compared to the outside, the inside of the Valley was considerably cooler than its surroundings. The air currents rustle feathers while the treacherous rocky cliffs blocked out most of the intensity of the sun’s light.
    Wildfire trotted at a furious pace, struggling to keep up with the long strides of the Harpias in her company. She walked beside Killian, and together, the two of them trailed after Astu. They had been walking since before the sunrise, eager to see where Astu was leading them. They became more and more excited as they began to hear the caws and commotion of stryx in the distance. Little did they know, Astu was actually leading   Wildfire + Killian Tributes (Nokt 2/3)    The sun had set a few hours ago, and the summer heat was beginning to lose its fiery grip on the land as the moon slowly rose to take its place. Cool winds swept across the fields as the temperatures gradually continued to drop.
    Wildfire and Killian followed after Astu, wondering where he was taking them. Just this morning they had completed their tribute to Daius, racing in the heat for nearly an hour. The heat and adrenaline of competing among all those other birds had left them exhausted. It seemed Astu was leading them to where they would perform their next tribute, their tribute to Nokt. Widlfire and Killian had both suspected Astu would guide them on their next two tributes after he had helped them through Daius, but they hadn’t seen it coming so soon.
    Astu lead them up a tall hill, Wildfire and Killian both straining to keep up. Even though Astu had technically competed with them, having followed them through their entire race, he   Wildfire + Killian Tributes (Galyx 3/3)    Twilight stretched across the sky as the sun drew closer to setting. Before long, it would be dusk. The sky was a soft gradient of warm colors, and white clouds were being tossed about by the wind throughout the sky. It was the hottest part of the day. Even as the sun began to fall out of the sky, the summer heat still lingered. A steady breeze blew over the land, but it did little to alleviate the scorching weather.
    Despite the heat, Killian and Wildfire were still rearing to go. Being crepuscular stryx, they were lively as ever around twilight. Astu was nocturnal, but he had prepared himself for today and made sure to wake up early so he could guide these two on their final tribute. Their tribute to Galyx. It had been a few days now since Wildfire and Killian had completed their tributes to Nokt and Daius, and they were excited to see their friends again. It was bittersweet… It was likely they wouldn’t see many of them again after this final tr
