It has come to my attention that Kal's application form has absolutely nothing to do with her anymore (especially concerning her physicall appearance) so I decided to reupload it.
I included her bending and her backpack because I never actually drew those, but they are very important. She never takes that thing off. (even to sleep i bet)

KALIKO (Kal)

SKILLS
Storytelling: Kaliko has an extremely vivid imagination. She loves to tell stories, should they be tales she heard when she was young, exaggerated anecdotes or completely made-up adventures. You can find her every sunday in the Western District's marketplace from sunrise to sundown, or in various placs around town the rest of the week, telling stories all day long. She writes down everything that happens to her in one of her many notebooks, hoping one day to tell her own tale.

Water puppets: To illustrate her tales, Kaliko uses her waterbending in a very unique way; she bends the water to make it look like moving puppets. When she is very concentrated, she can create a scene with over ten moving, detailed characters. However, she cannot use bending to fight to save her life. She has a deep spiritual connection to her bending, but absolutely no power.

Hiking: Republic City is just one of the many stops on Kal's journey. She plans on going around the world and has already walked across the earth kingdom for the past two years.

BIO
Kaliko was a very shy child and always kept to herself. She left the North Pole because she wanted to push herself and learn to socialize, which she did during her travels across the Earth Kingdom before ending up in Republic City. Although, she still didn't make many friends in the capital, spending most of her time in the library reading - she pretty much lives there.
She loves adventures and will take risks, but often gives up in the end if she knows she can’t achieve perfection. Kaliko bonds much more with children younger than her. She can get in an argument pretty easily, but in the end, she always apologizes, even if she was right at the start. All she wants is to feel needed. That is why she tends to attach herself to people with a troubled past, aggressive attitude, physical dissability, etc. and usually runs away when she feels that person can take care of themselves - she is no longer needed, therefore no longer wanted.
Kaliko knows that she cannot do much except tell stories of what other people did. She greatly admires people who actually do something with their lives.

It was getting dark and she had no idea where to go. The last train had left an hour ago and the station would close soon. There weren't a lot of trees around. Where there any trees in Republic City? Kaliko let out a deep sigh and looked down at her left wrist. Among the many bracelets she had collected on her travels, a shiny, polished green and golden chain caught her lifeless glance. She thought of taking it off. Dump it in the sewers, maybe. Perhaps that would help her forget.
There had to be a place in this city, somewhere she could sleep. She was getting hungry, too. The city really was as beautiful as she had heard it was, the streets glittering under the shops’ lit up signs. She thought of writing about it, later. Did she bring any of her notebooks? She checked in her bag, yes, thank the spirits, they were all there. She had dropped everything for nothing, but at least she had her notebooks. She didn’t have any money left, though.
Kaliko wondered if they had any temples here, where the homeless could rest. Was she homeless now? It wouldn’t change much, actually. She hadn’t felt at home anywhere since she left the tribe over a year ago. It was cold. She wasn’t used to the cold anymore. Still, she hadn’t felt warm in a while. She thought of the sun on top of the hill in Ba Sing Se. The light coming through the green leaves of a tree, shaping the shadows in the grass to create soft paterns. A sudden breeze throwing her hair everywhere. A laughter, a hand brushing strands of hair behind her ear. No, she didn't want to think about that. That hill was just like the bracelet, a hopeless memory.

Additional Info & Backstory
Kaliko was born an only child to a nonbending couple, a Water Tribe native mother and a United Nations native father, child of a firebender and an earthbender. Her mother is a school teacher and her father is a fisherman.
Kaliko had waterbending lessons as a child, which she failed because she would never attack her opponent, and healing lessons, which she also failed. She cannot reach her full potential is because she never shows her true emotions and burries everything deep inside her heart, constantly wearing a happy mask.
She has travelled acros the Earth Kingdom, from Yu Dao to Ba Sing Se, before moving on to Republic City.
