Description
I decided to create this in honor of the old wildy that was, and the new wildy that is. It took me a total of about 15 hours to complete WITH A MOUSE, and I used the free downloadable program Gimp to render it.Related content

But surely the Old wildy was the new wildy, and the new wildy was the old-old wildy (pre Dec 07?)
Not that the new wildy was a nice wildy (the post 07, pre '11 one, not the pre dec 2007 one) anyway, seeing that I was there when the Old-old-old wildy (RSC 2001) was released, and it was nice as the pre Dec 07 wildy too. Not that the Post 07 pre'11 wildy was bad, but it was too safe, not conveying the sheer terror of pre 07 wildy with its post 07 wildy Revenants.

Er, Bounty hunter could go to hell. I fondly remember Boneyard and hunting rune larges at Demon Temple and am glad for the old school logistics.

the rendering of the light and colour make this really quite intresting. I can see that you put quite a lot of effort into doing the painting.
Although the slightly awquward pose and overbended leg on the figure distract a viewers attention from that a bit.
Your use of black as an all-rounder base shade also steals a lot of depth from your image, try using a rich almost-black brown for the dead tree, and the same for the sky.
(ps. The sky is always brighter than the ground below it, unless you have a strong light source on the ground like a city.)

It's just illuminated by his amulet.

oooh! My bad! I just saw spikey armor and it had a red hue so I automatically assumed dragon xD. I havent used guthans in so long I forgot what it looked like

I like this pic a lot. The lighting and the glow from the amulet really add an extra sense of errieness to the picture. Great work!
Though I don't like the wild as it is now, this sure does make me want to go out there a bit more often.

The lighting is something unrealistic, although very interesting (it's actually my favorite part of this picture).
