Here's some more life drawing done from photo ref. I got the reference for the top sheet from , the reference for the bottom sheet was a gay erotic site which I won't be linking for obvious reasons... the photos on there had some pretty sweet lighting though...Done with mechanical pencil, HB lead, on size A4 paper.
By the way! Thanks for all the critique you guys sent my way about the last life drawing update. I know that I didn't implement all of them in this update (although in some cases it wasn't possible, for example if the whole figure wasn't even included in the ref), but I swear I haven't forgotten - real life drawing class tomorrow, so I'll be putting them to good use there.

How did you achieve a dark tone this deep with an HB lead?! I mean, if I'm working on some studies I'd just take a sheet of copy paper which is sometimes too smooth but not even on watercolor paper I get this dark without switching to 2b... So I just thought... was workable fixative involved? I'm sorry if this question was asked before, I don't have much time in my hands...
Gay sites sounds like a lot of new poses that aren't as weird as the artistic ones you get on reference sites at times, great idea. Sort of, if you know what I mean :3

Even though you looked at a gay site you still produce awesome work however you have made me want to do this but I don't want my parents to look at me in a bad awkward way and if my friends new about it even worst haha. I do understand why you did this to see it more naturally because me and women are doing it more naturally in the photo. Great job

Well to be honest, you don't actually need to go to gay porn website to get reference photos like these. I just wanted some super ripped dudes, in great lighting, and these were the first hits that popped up in my google search. But if you just type "male nude" into the DA search engine, you'll get a ton of hits as well.
Of course, you'd still be looking at naked men. But that's something you're gonna have to get over if you want to study the form of the male body...

Hey you are great!!! I think that your heads are a little bite small for the body buy I'm not sure maybe you just don't care about them because you are focused on the rest of the body. Its just an observation for this work and the others of "life drawing". Anyway you are near to be a master. Keep creating!!
