If I may ask, What program do you use to make these animations?

This one was done entirely in Photoshop, but I've tended to bounce between Photoshop and Flash mostly. Lately, I've been exploring TV Paint.

Doing research is definitely beneficial. You could look up run cycles all day, but getting a video of the real thing is invaluable. Youtube is pretty useful for that.
