I managed to put the two pieces together and come up with an overall design ^^: [link] [link][EDIT: fixed Rinoa's lip(she put her lipstick outside of her lips xD)]

Very detailed work!
The only gripe I have would be the position of the nose(s): it seems postioned way too low on the face (even though the head(s) are slightly tilted downward), and somehow the nose bridge (to the eyebrows) is missing. I'd consider these at the rough earlier stage, and thus make the nose/nostrils slightly wider too. Overall, great rendering!

wow, they look like twins! I suppose a lot of ff characters resemble each other...
It's very pretty, but I must say I think the smaller images with just half their faces work better... that thick line in the middle bothers me a little

Your coloring skill is awesome! i love the idea of putting 2 images together the form one. Besure to watch out for those though. since theyre 2 different characters and face shapes.. it might make the piece looks somewhat out of ordinary.. as a result looks odd instead of good.
In this piece! it looks quite well! Just the lips is a bit twitched. overall concept is great! good job!
