I work as an assistant guide/packer on guided hunting trips in Alaska. Our hunts are exclusively back pack only and lots of it. This is the head of a valley, about 14 miles from our starting point. We were looking for Dall Sheep. This was also one of the very brief glimpses of sun that we got for the entire 12 days we were out. We live out of a tarp eating bagels for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, and mountain house for dinner. And I get to lug all that stuff around for our clients.Just another fall adventure, August 2016
