Once again, love the pencil/pen and ink work. Her expression tells it all. Cheers!

That cat in the background is a nice touch. Doesn't feel as "3D" as the rest of the image but I imagine that's the whole idea; being blurred by the darkness. I was going to mention her pose, how that's just incriminating, but i your narration pegged that.

Yeah, well, considering that poor Anna's day started with a nice cat bath that was interrupted on Page 18 of Bare Necessities, and from that time until now (110 pages later) she has been scrambling to get down beneath the inn and avoid arrest by the High Lady's guards, confronting Jervil over the fate of the inn, patrolling the fringes of the Undercellar next to the cistern, duking it out with Luther and Elina, losing the Cat Shade, fleeing into the Undercellar, and finally being surprised by the net and gremlins, she's fairly tuckered out.
But, "the main event" is yet to come, and we're likely to see some more fight in her...

Those are some undeniably revealing statistics! Truth be told, I'm going to try and keep this one to around 40 pages (though it, like most, will probably go a bit longer than I plan). The ending of it may or may not be like every other chapter thus far (gotta' try not to give away some surprises with all these Oracles of Delphi walking around ), but it will be definitely be over on its last page.
Truthfully, the brevity of Annalae's struggle up to this point is mostly due to the fact that drawing that net is a pain in the ass. It's not like drawing a rope here and there... well, okay, it's exactly like drawing a rope here and there, but the placement of the rope is less appealing than if it were lassoes and nooses like those used on Valerin.
Regardless, thank you for the fun comment, and the compliment!

"Yarr, that be a nice catch."
Another excellent use of the human form and the myriad of ways to manipulate it.
I'm guessing Jervil has some kind of plan for Annalea. Exactly what it is, I can't hazard a guess. Unless it's simply preventing her from posing a possible problem.
That was a lot of p's.
