The mesh pulls tighter, overbalancing Annalae's upper body and dropping her forward onto the flagstones. Compacted and held in such a humiliating posture, the Cat Witch can only squirm and mewl in futility, drawing mischievous giggles from the victorious gremlins. The approaching laughter grows stronger, echoing through the storage room, and Annalae's feline companions crouch and hiss on the fringes of their mistress' strugglings.

That cat in the background is a nice touch. Doesn't feel as "3D" as the rest of the image but I imagine that's the whole idea; being blurred by the darkness. I was going to mention her pose, how that's just incriminating, but i your narration pegged that.

Well, yes its true that Annalae endured a lot of unkind attention during the latest chapters, but with the comment i thought more about the endfight where our heroines are finally brought to their knees and have their special encounter with your magical animated cloth gag.
Since you love number crunching so much, i will add some statistics to underpin my testimony: the "endfight" of Deirdre took about 23 pictures (page 35 - 58 of Fare Harvest) or that of Callista 19 pictures (page 69 - 98 of Bare Necessities).
So the net dropped at page 25 on Annalae starting the possible endfight. Considering an average rate of 20 pictures to bring our girl home we will have from now on still fifteen "struggle" pictures to go.
I dont know how much story you want to pack into this chapter or if it will end with Annalaes capture, but even with 15 more pictures to go, we will have 45 pictures, which seems a bit low for your average picture per chapter count.
On the other hand, since your job occupation level changed latley i have no idea about how much time you have left to invest into this project. Considering my love and admiration for your artwork i could only say: The more, the better.

Truthfully, the brevity of Annalae's struggle up to this point is mostly due to the fact that drawing that net is a pain in the ass.

I'm guessing Jervil has some kind of plan for Annalea. Exactly what it is, I can't hazard a guess. Unless it's simply preventing her from posing a possible problem.
