Why does it seem like every artist has a world with his own characters he is portraying? LatinivΓ© and Fenris, some characters that have been following me around ever since I was old enough to first read knight adventure stories, and later on fantasy novels. I always wanted to do this painting, now I'm lost.
I learnt quite a lot by doing this painting, and even though it is far from perfect, it is as much as I am able to and want to do now.
Done in Photoshop CS and Open Canvas, my Intuos

Wow! This is very well put together compositionally. The reds work very well in contrast to the bleak background to make the entire scene that much more bleak.
