Hey guys! Idk if y'all remember these kids but I'd released them publicly to my Discord a couple years back - never got to release them on DA since school picked up, I thought it would be better late than never.Tagari are a semi-open species!
- You can create a common/uncommon one for free personal use! You can create as many as you like.
- You don't have to ask me; please go right ahead.

There isn't currently a group, but I'm considering adding them to one as there's been a handful of people who have asked! It'll most likely be a simple character registration system with a template for users to fill out with their Tagari. I'll update info on my account here if something gets set up.

Hey there!
As long as raffles and giveaways are completely free and the design is registered before giving them away, that's totally fine. I might just ask for the quantity to be reasonable (like maybe 2 Tagari per month per person tops?), because it can become a lot of work registering them, then having to re-register immediately when they go to a new home.
I would also have to think about raffles that are technically free, but are a perk associated with paid content ,e.g. 'if you buy this commission, you get a free Tagari as a bonus!' and similar situations, since it starts to affix a price to something that should be completely free.

Hello!! Im not too great drawing at some ferals bc Im usually not too keen on feral species, but these are such fun and lovely friends I just had to try my hand at at least one (and Im a sucker for shape-shifting creatures)
let me know if this is an acceptable design/got the anatomy right lol ;w;
oh! Also, is there any limitation to eye coloration? Such as the pupils and sclera?
(asking partially because in my style I sometimes tend to draw characters with white pupils, wanted to know if youd prefer dark/black pupils)
(also, wanted to mention that I would love to draw his human form in a military uniform if you ever eventually post a design for that ^ ^ )

Stylization is totally fine, though I might ask for their master list image to have a normal dark pupil! That way in the future if they're traded off or gifted, it's not mistaken as an actual enchanted trait, I hope that makes sense! You can do whatever you like in other drawings however.
The actual iris itself has no limit in terms of color, it can even be a multi-colored rainbow if you want. The only thing that might be restricted that I didn't think of before are actual patterns in the eyes themselves (stars, stripes, etc.), with the exception of naturally ocurring moles. >:Ic

is there a place to see the markings they can have with their rarities?

Tagari don't really have rarities when it comes to markings, though there seems to be a trend of following Earth animals in their respective biomes. So a Tagari born in the jungle might be more likely to have leopard spots/okapi markings/ etc, but that's not required! More something to help give people a starting point.
The only markings with rarities are those that give the base fur unusual properties not seen in normal fur, like glow/metallic/scale/feather appearance. If you have a specific example you're not sure of I'm happy to help!

This is my first time hearing of this species as I haven't been following you all that long. But my hype is unreal. These guys are so well developed and I can see the designs going really far and being diverse. and your art fucking kills it. So excited to make some of my own! And nope, these will be semi open for the rest of their existence! I'm not too sure if I'd be able to keep up with a group exclusively for these guys, but I am planning to open one for my headworld where all species are bundled into one group!

OHHH what a gorgeous beb!! I think the only thing maybe missing are the tail rings, there's distinct divisions in their tail every 10 years (unless they're 10 y/o and have no divisions yet!). Either that or maybe they're not visible behind the leg/body?? In which case this is totally fine! Tagari look roughly 20 years younger than their human counterpart once they hit adulthood at about 20 years of age (so a 60 y/o tagari looks like they're in their 40's as a a human).
