This is beautiful! I think you need to work on the anatomy (hands ought to be bigger, arms are a little wooden) but the colouring is superb. I'm very impressed by the background.

The pic is like from my favorite fairy tale book (I never really listened or cared too much about the story but I loved the pics and they lived I life of their own with their own stories.) Beautiful pic.

As I said before, Iara is a Brazilian's folkloric character, she is a mermaid who lives in a river [though I drawed her in a sea].The Iara's songs are very beautiful and enchant the men, a kind of hypnosis, and then she takes them to the deep of the river, and devour them x)
She is always holding a mirror, and some drawers made her with green hair, or also like a mermaid-monster. Well, that's it!!Thank you for beeing interested!!!
