Staring at the ceiling
when lying in my bed
I think of all the healing to be done inside my head

The moon lights up an image
sat upon my bedroom wall
the outline of a hero who was strong brave and tall

As the moon light becomes more focused
it lights up his innocent face
He smiles at me from the bedroom wall his features full of grace

I know I will never in my life
See a smile like he used to wear
Except in the picture on my which
On which now I stare

We will meet again someday in a play beyond the sky
where i will see his smile again and the twinkle in his eye.
