Complete Valkyrie Rider Costume for client! I used 10 meters of golden silk for the skirt. The chest piece is attached to a semi leather corset for comfort. I used an absorbent sporting fabric underneath the chest plate and scale sleeves because this costume is going to be worn in a horse show = lots of movement!Email me on fairytas.info@gmail.com for commissions like this!Β

RainA steady rain falls here, cleansing the air, dropping golden leaves beneath the trees. Another autumn already, as stores fill with holiday merchandise and folks become preoccupied with the usual preparations, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas... I just smile, because I'm going the opposite direction, clearing backlogged filing and half-started things intending *not* to get distracted from what I truly wish to devote my time to, as it stands there unfinished in my bedroom--a large, religious outdoor art project--may God grant what he began, gets done in His way. This is amaaaaaaaaaazing. I'm an equestrian myself and my fingers are just itching to touch this. This is going to look ah-ma-zing when the horse is even walking. It's just going to move and glide wonderfully (don't even get me starting when the horse goes up into a trot or a canter. Oh my goooooooooooood. A full gallop is going to be even more awesome.)
I bow down at your skills. Costumes for like this for horse shows are most often used in reining (that I know of at least; definitely NOT English Equitation which is what I do), so this is definitely going to steal the show. Now I want to learn reining just to have sick costumes like this!

You are a darling for typing out such a long comment! I wish I could show you this dress moving but unfortunately my client only send me a very low res picture of her on the horse. It does flow amazing though on the back of the horse <3

That doesn't surprise me. Indoor arena lights tend to be harsh so high-res photos are a challenge. Add in a half ton moving animal and well, you see how the frustration in taking pictures. XD It's like taking pictures of fish in a tank. Doable, but hard.
