Raven felt her face turn red as Beast Boy's hand drifted to her chin, pulling her face closer and closer to his. Her heart beat was racing, and she was panting for air, unable to stay calm. Throughout the tower, she heard her powers breaking things and shattering them to pieces. Thankfully, the other Titans were still gone, and only Silkie would have felt the blow from her lack of control.
She shivered a bit, moving her lips away from Beast Boy's for a moment, finally managing to gasp out. "In-Instincts. It's only your instincts, Beast Boy! Y-You don't want to do any of this!"
Beast Boy leaned more into Raven, his eyes blaring into hers, forcing her to focus on him and only him. "'Instincts'?" He repeated her words, though not in an offended tone. His thumb drifted to her bottom lip, caressing it gently, cursing himself for wearing gloves. "Raven, I seriously doubt 'instincts' would make me feel the way I do around you...I want to take care of you, not to just use you for a stupid one-night stand. Raven, what I feel for you goes much, much further than just 'instincts'."
