Description
This was a rush job. I did it all entirely today, from quickie sketch to ink to photoshop to print - it's my 2010 limited edition Christmas card design! (Last year's was an adaptation of 'Snow Meow.') I should add that all throughout the production of this card Copernicus made himself a nuisance by either laying on the sketch and smudging the ink with his fur or by trying to take off with my drawing tools. Bloody cat! He's definitely not an art appreciator.

In any case, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you all! Here's to a fantastic and lucky 2011!

Hope it made you smile. Originally the plan was to draw a foal, then Phiro, but they were both rejected eventually on grounds that foals are kind of hard to draw (I wanted this to be adorable and fast) and 99% of my family members do not know who Phiro is, so here's a snowy husky/malamute puppy instead for your enjoyment!

Also, the reason for this year's design being an ink illustration is simply just my funds - I can't afford colour ink!
