No, it's the original UTG 231 but does have the upgraded bolt kit. It's actually the only airsoft gun i still have.

No it was just a photo shoot thing, A fun idea for some funny pics is all. I don't airsoft in a fursuit....or at all anymore for that matter.

No it would be too dangerous, there is no eye protection to speak of and you can't hear very well, your field of vision is very limited...plus cleaning your fur after a good game would suck lol!

can the mask even protect you from pellets? it looks like they'd go right through it and hit you if you used it.

No,the eyes do not have any protection built in and the mouth is open. the rest of the head tho is covered in up to several inches of foam and the fur is thick backed so would provide some protection but I would never try to skirmish in it.

It was unusable in actual skirmishing, the head limited eyesite horribly and you couldn't hear diddley...plus unless i was in a snow storm, no amount of camo could hide me

Dude...I see a really big target. Don't get me wrong if I saw that on the field I'd get one hell of a laugh out of it. Cause a furry playing airsoft is just down right hilarious.
However...I cannot help but feel that all the LMG's would somehow suddenly find their way to you.

Lol! As I've said in other comments,it's not very feasable to skirmish in, your vision sucks and you can't hear a damn thing. It's only a partial suit anyways so theres not really any padding either. and yea I'd stand out like a beacon for everyone ant their mother to shoot at.

You can't see much, and you can't hear a lot either so it's not really practical for real skirmishing...plus I'd stand out like crazy in anything except deep snow

we are getting a fursuit only game set up, we've been hashing out rules and such, obviously it wont be a serious skirmish but we think it will be fun all the same

That's true, but for anything below about 350fps I can hardly feel it. My friend with a crono verified 450fps sniper rifle hit me in the arm at about 30 ft and it stung pretty good.

Mmm I got an AK47 that fires around 370FPS and I love seeing people squirm and cry when they're hit.... no one has the common sense to wear afew layers....
I wish I could afford an automatic that fired around 400 FPS

lol, to bad for them then...very simple body armor can be made with 2 tee shirts and some sewing batting sewn between them that will soften up hits from most "overpowered" (400+) guns a fair bit.

I just bear in and take the pain, it doesn't last forever and it lets me know not to do things like that again
