I wanted to thank you for this picture. My sister died when she was 30 leaving behind a 7 year old girl, Hallie. One week later her father had a girl that had been staying next door move in with him. They got married quickly. There is more to how and why she died that's very questionable. Anyway, Hallie's new stepmother was schizo and beat and abused Hallie a lot until Hallie left at 18 years old, which is what my sister had done. My family didn't know this because we couldn't stand her dad and never went up to see them. Hallie's around 35 now and asks me basically why we didn't 'save' her. My stepfather doesn't want my mother to see her or me even now. I think this picture might wake my mother up. Hallie for years would visit her mother's grave and leave notes and necklaces made from little flowers. Thank you extremely.

That story is unbelievably touching... the kind that you only see in movies. I wish you all the luck in the world with seeing her again, (if you do.) It could mean the world to her.
And it's my pleasure to have taken it... I don't think I really intend it to mean anything to anyone when I took it, but if it does, then I guess it's nothing but a bonus.
Let me know how things go... good luck.

Ive just noticed that the bunny's expression looks as though it is being tickled to death, or pehaps crying......nice touch.....was it planned?

Haha, no, not really - the actual bunny's got a kinda sad expression on its face, and its eyes are closed, either like he's sleeping or like he's really miserable and just blocking everything out. So yeah, I'm gonna shut up about the expression on the rabbits face now *giggles*
See you soon Bex!!

Aah! Great model.. you are lucky dont think any one of the small-size-people I know would pose for me like this..
the blond hair, the bunny doll, dress with flowers, summer day..
almost sounds like a cliche
BUT it is totaly not cuz the doll is on a beautiful abandoned graveyard..
totaly love the concept.. everyone has forgotten this place except for this litle child..who.. lost someone she loved a lot..
shiny beautiful day..with a sparkle of sadness..
love it!

Haha, no, thanks for that Rory Not overly confused. I took two shots of this composition, one where I wasn't facing the sun, and this one, but the final produce of the other one just didn't feel quite right, and I preferred the angle of this - so yeah, although my mother will be very dissapointed, I decided to 'rebel' and go for this one I've edited the Gamma and Brightness of this picture, but when I tried the Contrast, it ended up looking over done, and I quite liked it looking quite (in my opinion) smokey.
Thanks for the tip, I'll remember that next time I'm disobaying mommy hehe.
I've had that bunny since I was three, she's called Emily lol.
