Because I can't seem to draw these little goobers consistently.

A snekkit is a mammalian creature native to the planet Sanctuary. It has a long, slender body ranging from 2 to 3 feet long and weighing anywhere from 6 to 9 lbs. Over half of it's body length is made up of it's fluffy, prehensile tail, which it can use to balance itself or anchor itself to tree branches.

Wild snekkits are most at home in trees. They spend most of their lives in the branches of a select few trees that it calls its territory, hunting birds, lizards and insects and rarely touching the ground. They will aggressively defend their territory from other predators and other snekkits, biting and scratching anything that attempts to climb its home trees. Their mews, purrs and occasional screams are a common sound in the forests on Ark Fias.

In spite of this aggressive behavior, snekkits are easily domesticated within a couple generations. This is due to their tendency to form strong bonds with their familial units, which a young snekkit will expand to include anyone that they spend a lot of time around while they are growing up. Snekkit kits raised by a single owner will often grow up to become loyal and affectionate companions who will aggressively defend their owner if they are threatened.
