My other son Aidan (who is now 5). I chose to draw from a picture of him at age 4 so that it could accompany the drawing I did of my younger son Deklahn on his 4th birthday. The canvases are the same size, and hang near each other.Graphite 9X12"

One example of a great artist is how well you can capture the subject matters character and expression, you captured your sons sweet personality perfectly! If you don't mind me saying, darkening the mouth with a subtle shadow can give the image a little more depth, but above all this is great!

No problem, I love drawing with Charcoal with shadows and lighting have so much more contrast than with using graphite. But still, great job!
