Thiis is a Whisper, a species I've not yet been able to draw fully how I imagine them.

They're basically spirit creatures derived from ZryAiina, my creation Goddess, who protect pure hearted mortals from demons from Zrinix. Those blade-arms are usually kept completely hidden in their thick fur, and are usually used as surprise weapons in case an attacker gets in too close for them to use their ordinary method of killing.
They don't see with teir eyes, which are always shut unless they're attacking. Their eyes are there to absorb energy from their surroundings, and only open in order to do so, which in turn provides the charge for a beam of concentrated energy from their mouth.
They actually 'see' through those two long feathers on their head, and to a lesser extent, through their wing and tail feathers. they 'see' by feeling the vibrations and movement of the air around them, so if you burn off those feathers they'll be rendered almost blind.. They're also completely blind in the rain, which confuses their senses.
