Thank you! Yes, Cyrus is translucent. I wanted to have him in the picture even though Alice doesn't know where he is - that's why she's looking so sadly at his pendant in her hands. It would be weird if she was doing that and her was standing right next to her XD

I like that effect, it tells the story and does explain why she's sad. Ooh, I missed the pendant! That would be weird. XD It'd be like, Alice, do you need glasses?
Oh man, I love Alice *__* I'm extremely picky about female protagonists I choose to like, but Alice is really wowing me. ^^

Haha XD I like her too, especially since everyone underestimates her and she always manages to blow them away with how clever she is. They assume because she's a Victorian girl that she's dainty and weak. Plus, she can kick serious butt! I love that the writers made Cyrus and Alice a team when they fight instead of one just protecting the other. They work so well together :3

Indeed, she does get through Wonderland by using cleverness and she proves those who didn't believe her wrong. Ooh yeah, that's true, she sort of has the Victorian-ness as an asset, since she can fool her enemies into thinking she's weaker than she actually is. She can. : D Yeah, it's a vast improvement over many romantic couples, it also emphasizes the adventurous spirit that's inherent to these fantasy adventure stories. : )

That's true - Alice is very adventurous and willing to take on anything. My favourite episode of OUAT was 'Snow Falls' from series 1 because of the same things. Snow was clever, adventurous and not afraid to fight, but the Charmings started to get a bit repetitive after a while. I really hope that doesn't happen with Alice and Cyrus. I'm sure that when we find out his backstory, there'll definitely be some new twist on his character other than 'nice guy'. That's cool that Snow was updated as well. : D Blah, not sure about repetitive love interests. : ( I hope not, Alice and Cyrus are pretty good with each other so far. That would be awesome if there was a twist about Cyrus, I do like how you base your theory on Cyrus's clothes-it's true, he does wear earthy colors, but they're still nice fabrics. Β
If Jafar's amulet is a royal amulet, he certainly would have stolen it. Though he may dress like a dark prince, he's no royal, he's not even a noble. : )

I'm not sure at the moment :/ I would love to see another series, but from the way people are reacting to it on tumblr and the reviews I've read, I just hope it finishes the first series. Fingers crossed for another one!

Now I do have complaints because no shows perfect .However I like so many things like turning Jafar from a large ham like he was in the Disney version into a competent and threatening villain ,Getting John Lithgow as the White Rabbit is a stroke of genius ,and turning the Cheshire Cat into pureΒ unadulterated nightmare fuel with the normally deep voice of Keith David pitched up

I remember seeing the trailer on facebook after watching OUAT and I thought that someone had gone into my brain, picked everything I'd ever want to see in a tv show and made it for me! And it was worth the wait - what did you think?

I liked it, and it is setting up for a good story, I'm more curious how they are going to turn this Red Queen into Cora? I also thinkΒ I canΒ see a possible love triangle with the Knave, but I may be over analyzing it. I like Alice though I think she is a little naΓ―ve. Granted she makes a point of saying you don't need proof to know certain things, but it seemed a bit too convenient whenΒ she found the amulet outside by the path onlyΒ after she went into the houseΒ and the rabbit showed up. I would have found that highly suspicious, in her place. Jaffar seems to be a great character so far (for a villain), and I would like to see more of him, I don't particularly care for this Queen but she may grow on me further in to the series. What did you think?

The Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts are two different characters in the books, so you don't have to worry about that. I'm pretty sure that Cyrus' pendant was planted outside the Hatter's house as he got swept away by Jafar, and I assume, straight to the cage. But Alice wouldn't know that - she believed that he'd been there, though she may have thought it odd that his pendant just fell off one day. I kinda wish that I'd thought of the magic carpet thing earlier on. It never even occurred to me that Jafar would have one!

Oh okay didn't know that, I was so confused when the Red Queen wasn't Cora that it kind of threw me for a loop. I, too, am very interested in the rest of the series and cannot wait to seeΒ it unfold. Again though, I find it suspicious that she didn't find the pendant until after she had gone into the house. I mean it glows bright red for crying out loud, she should have seen it the first time. Can't wait for the next episode!

Ooh, I didn't think of that. But he honestly didn't sound like he knew if Cyrus was alive when he was talking to the Queen. Then again, he arrived after Alice was already inside the house, so he could have been given it by the Queen/Jafar and planted it outside for Alice to find, and THAT is why it didn't glow! Wow, you're a genius!

It was the pilot so I'm giving it a break, but I thought it could have been better. I feel like it's trying too hard to be the original OUAT.
