But... where is the difference between "NOtps" and "Ships you hate/despise"?

Not much really and yeah, they basically are the same. Mostly itβs just semantics and user choice. I was thinking in terms of it being a polar opposite to an OTP. I guess the limiting factor, if any, would be quantity. You might ship lots of stuff, but only have one or two pairings youβre obsessed with. The same can be true of a Notp versus something you hate. You can hate something but have something you hate above all else and wish to make that special distinction by referring to it as your Notp. When it comes down to it, itβs just a personal preference on how someone might chose to express those levels of like and dislike. Β Even though itβs listed in the meme key, someone filling out the meme doesnβt necessarily have to use all the distinctions. Theyβre just their in case someone does want to make a special distinction and use them.
