Description
Basic Story: (Note: This takes place in an AU. It doesn't quite follow the trajectory of the future shown in the last episode.)

Twilight Sparkle's family:
After everything was said and done, the tree palace in place, and Equestria in a time of peace and harmony, the populace settled down and life happened for everyone. Princess Twilight initially married her crush, Flash Sentry, and after some time, an heir was born from their union, Sunlight Sparkle. The public believed that they were happy, but behind the scenes, Twilight found herself dissatisfied with her choice in partner. Flash was, in a word, bland. She hadn't given his lackluster personality much thought to until after their son, Sunlight, was born. She quickly realized that her love for him was shallow, and this eventually resulted in their relationship crumbling, until it eventually shattered when she caught Flash cheating on her. They got divorced soon after. Spike and Sunlight tried to comfort her in this time, leading to Sunlight developing an intense hatred for his father, which evolved into bitter indifference as he grew older.

Twilight's eventual 'forever partner' appeared in a very cathartic way. Twilight became very well acquainted with tabloids and magazines talking about 'Flash's side' of the story. Many writers and reporters wanted to get her word as well, but she never gave them the time of day. Though while many of them would quit after the first few attempts, while giving rude remarks about how 'Flash was right about her'. One writer, in particular, was a bit more determined and far more polite. Trenderhoof, who took no interest in the fantastical and outright laughable 'story' Flash cooked up, and decided to bring attention to the princess' point of view instead. It didn't take long before Twilight finally broke, attempting to tell him off, only for Trender to respond with kindness and sympathy. Trenderhoof was taken aback and touched by how authentically Twilight expressed her emotions in that outburst, unlike many other 'proper royals', who'd likely never let on how badly this type of situation would hurt them, and Twilight felt it cathartic to get it off her chest, especially to someone so willing to hear her side of the story. Thus, they had a chat, and Trenderhoof got Twilight's blessing to start printing her story.

Almost immediately, public reception turned the opposing way, as Trenderhoof also included evidence and interviewed others in the palace, and Flash was seen for the cheater he really was. Though Twilight and Trender actually gained a friendship from this, too, and started meeting to talk. Just talk. Trender even began writing a segment specifically with Twilight's input as well about certain subjects, which many enjoyed, as it made the Princess of Friendship seem far more relatable, which caused many ponies to like her even more. Trenderhoof and Twilight were very nervous, but ended up confessing their love for one another at the same time, leading to a slight laughing fit. They started dating, and Sunlight began giving Trenderhoof a death-glare, one that said: "You break her heart and I break your spine." ...Don't worry, he warmed up to him...eventually.

Twilight decided that marriage wasn't for her after what happened with Flash, and Trender didn't mind that. The two of them ended up deciding they were life partners, just like Twilight's parents, and eventually had a son of their own; This son was named 'Bias broke'. There was much debate over which brother would inherit the throne, however, as while Sunlight was the firstborn, his father was divorced from the princess. It's still an ongoing debate.

Celestia's family:
Meanwhile, Princess Celestia was making plans to join the Yak kingdom with the pony kingdom, mainly to avoid potential war (Which the yaks were very liberal with threatening when they got angry.). Celestia appeared herself in Yakyakistan before Prince Rutherford and proposed a political marriage between herself and him in exchange for peace. Prince Rutherford was hesitant at first, and demanded to take her on a date first. Celestia found herself... a bit shocked at the request, but also slightly endeared, and the two went to the peak of a mountain for the 'date'. After this date, Prince Rutherford declared that Celestia's white coat reminded him of Yakyakistan's snow, among a few other things, and thus declared that yes, he would gladly marry Celestia.

Celestia initially planned for the marriage to be long distance, as she explained to the prince that she still needed to govern in Equestria. But, a day after she arrived, she was surprised to find Prince Rutherford at her doorstep, with an aggressively affectionate hug and kiss to her hoof, as well as an aggressive declaration that this was 'their castle' now, not just hers. This is...basically how he acts. Very aggressive affection toward her that Celestia is both endeared by and doesn't know what to do with. Rutherford was already in love with her from that first date. Celestia ended up falling for him a bit later into their relationship. They ended up having one child, Sunlit Strike.

Luna's family:
Luna and Thorax started out after they declared Thorax the 'king' of the metamorphosed changelings. The princesses soon asked him to move closer to Canterlot as royalty, and Thorax became very confused as to how everything worked and where everything was. Luna, however, came to his rescue. Luna knew all about how confusing things could be, as she had to readjust when she returned from the moon, so she lent Thorax a helping hoof and became the guide that she wished she had. It was during this time that they bonded over their shared situations, and Thorax asked her if she wanted to try...dating? Is that what ponies called it? Luna was a bit surprised, but accepted, interested to see how it would go. It turned out they had a bit in common, especially their love of the night (My Headcanon: Changelings are naturally nocturnal.) Eventually, Thorax asked Luna to marry him, and vowed to give her all the love he could muster. Thus, they had two children, Lunar lotus and Slean.

Queen Chrystalis' family: (Bastard child not pictured, he'll be featured in a different post.)
Meanwhile, Queen Chrystalis was stewing in the everfree forests. She wanted so badly to invade Ponyville and try to assasinate Twilight, but she knew better. She couldn't, not yet. Pregnant at that time with the bastard child of Shining armor, she had little in terms of options. She spent that time in Ponyville, waiting to give away the little spawn. When they were finally born, she left the hospital immediately, shedding her pony disguise. As she slunk off, though, she was suddenly approached by a mysterious brown stallion. At first, Chrystalis was under the impression that he was going to attack her, but this stallion instead began babbling giddily like a school filly. Chrystalis was confused, until he introduced himself, 'Doctor Whooves', or...'Time turner'? Apparently, he was interested in 'studying' Crystalis, assuring her that he wouldn't call the guard. In fact, he asked her to come to his home! Queen Chrystalis was hesitant, but could sense the excitement radiating off him, and decided that she could simply hypnotise him if he tried anything funny. Besides, this nerd would probably be easy to trick and feed off of to gain some strength anyway.

Time Turner was surprisingly sympathetic towards her, especially after he got her to divulge how difficult it was to provide nourishment to her hive. Queen Chrystalis became curious as to why this 'Doctor Whooves' was so compassionate. Dr Whooves, meanwhile, was studying her and how metamorphosis worked for changelings, seeing as the change seemed so drastic and had such an interesting clause for it's activation. Though, this went from that to studying her as a person, as her psychology also seemed interesting to him. Their like-minded interest in eachother was what ultimately ignited the relationship, as they ultimately ended up developing real feelings for one another. Chrystalis, despite her eventual desision to give him her love, didn't metamorphose (My Headcanon: Changelings don't metamorphose unless they decide to share love completely. Just sharing love with one pony doesn't count, thus why Thorax didn't metamorphose despite developing a close friendship with Spike.) Time Turner couldn't marry Chrystalis, as changelings were barred from marriage currently, as well as Chrystalis being classed as an enemy to Equestria, so they decided to simply be life partners instead. (Though, that, ultimately is more natural for Changelings.) Queen Chrystalis' hive was hesitant to accept a pony as their king, but eventually warmed up to him after his 'crazy inventions' helped them in certain areas of hive work. Queen Chrystalis got a bit of anxiety after realizing she was pregnant again, even leading to a heartbreaking moment where she begged The Doctor not to leave her like Shining Armor did. But of course, Time Turner wasn't going to let that happen, and stayed with her the whole time. (Slightly eager to see what a hybrid foal would look like, but mostly because Chrystalis was his partner ofc.) Thus, Phasmida was born.

Cadence and Shining Armor's family: (Beau not pictured because he'll be featured in a different post.)
Cadence and Shining armor's love story is pretty much common knowlage. They had three children, Princess Skyla was first, Flurry Heart was second, and Bisou Amore was third. They had a surprise fourth child, but many are terribly confused by how this child could possibly be. This fourth child was named 'Oddy' after her strange appearance, as she almost seemed like she couldn't possibly be related to Shining armor, but, doctor's tests proved that she was genetically Shining armor's child. It was...strange. Oddy, this strange centaur child, eventually changed his name to 'Beau Armor' after realizing he was transmasc, with Skyla following suit, changin her name to 'Skylark'. Both parents were deeply proud of their children, as Beau and Skylark revealed later that they had identified as male for a while, but after realizing the other felt the same way, not only became eachother's rock, but also gave eachother the strength they needed to pluck up the courage to come out to their families. Their families, as many trans people would dream, accepted them with open arms, just as Shining and Cadence had accepted Beau's strange appearance. ...Though that does beg the question: Why is Beau a centaur???

What's up with Prince Blueblood?:
Prince Blueblood had no interest in starting a true family. He did, however, want an heir worthy enough of being related to him. He looked high and low for a unicorn powerful enough to have 'the honor' of carrying his heir. At first, he had his sights set on Twilight's pupil: Starlight glimmer. However, he could never get close enough to her. He did, however, overhear her freind, Trixie. He heard some of the tales of Trixie's (False) triumphs which she used to parade around telling. From many ponies who'd seen her shows in the past, he even heard that she 'performed amazing feats of magic', and even overheard that she had easily cast age spells, even! (Not overhearing the samll detail that she was wearing the alicorn amulet at the time.) Thus, Blueblood decided Trixie would be the mare he'd persue. He proceeded to woo her with all the tricks in the book, and eventually, Trixie took the bait. Blueblood acted as gentlemanly as possible to her, pretended he loved her, and even went through the trouble of claiming to be her 'coltfriend'. All of this culminating in what he desired: a one night stand. This resulting in exactly what he wanted, as Trixie came to him declaring she was pregnant. However, as soon as she gave birth to their son: 'Cobalt Crescent', Prince Blueblood framed Trixie for a crime to get her out of the picture. Trixie was soon banished to the badlands, while Blueblood hoped he'd never see her again. Prince Blueblood took his new son and tossed him to the first nursemaid he saw, declaring that he was much too busy to raise the young colt.

Starlight Glimmer, devestated over the loss of her friend, volunteered to raise him, and Blueblood passively allowed it, unaware that Starlight actually knew that Blueblood was responsible for Trixie's banishment. Suddenly, Cobalt was gone, kidnapped by Starlight, and raised along with her own children while suing magic to disguise him as one of her own.

Spike's family:
Spike and Scootaloo had a fairly similar mindset. Spike and her had similar personalities and interests, leading to them being friends throughout their childhood. When they grew up, Spike and Scootaloo started dating pretty quickly, and it wasn't long before they ended up falling head-over-heels for eachother. Being that Spike was Twilight's adopted son, making him a prince, when he married Scootaloo, she became a princess. (Though, obviously, she'd have to earn alicornhood if she ever wanted that title properly.) Scootaloo became a competitive daredevil and racer (While also becoming a wrestler on the side.), while Spike cheered her on in the background, becoming the loudest voice in the crowd most of the time. This voice was soon joined by the little voice of their dragon/pony hybrid child: 'Razor wind'.

Rainbow's family:
Scootaloo's parents tragically died whilst out exploring. A tragedy to be sure, and Scootaloo had nowhere else to go. She was set to go to an orphanage, or even be homeless! That is, until Rainbow came along. Rainbow managing to get her parents to adopt the now-orphaned scootaloo, making Rainbow and Scootaloo true sisters. Rainbow, now a wonderbolt, ended up developing an attraction to her fellow wonderbolt: Sorin. However, he seemed completely oblivious to her advances. Hell, she even, in desperation, took some of Rarity's advice, and started doing that 'girly flirting stuff'. Nothing worked! (Little did she realize: Sorin is Aro/Ace.) Rainbow became very well-aquanted to Canterlot's very own Donut Joe at that time. Joe found her complaining to him annoying at first, but eventually, it became one of the highlights, as Rainbow's personality was a breath of fresh air compared to the entitled snooty customers and Karens he had to deal with most of the time.

However, Rainbow began to notice some things about Joe. He seemed...off sometimes. Secretive and far more mysterious than he seemed on the surface. Rainbow eventually decided to sneak in and spy on him after hours, only to discover that Pinkie's previous theory about Donut Joe being a spy was actually true! Donut Joe, or his code name, 'Java', was a spy in the employ of the royal court. Rainbow was shocked, of course, and Donut Joe was just as surprised when Rainbow confessed to him that she knew his secret on his way home from the donut shoppe. Rainbow though promised to keep it a secret, by that point considering Donut Joe a good friend, and Rainbow being Rainbow, she was always loyal to her friends, and that meant keeping secrets. Rainbow, realizing Joe was way cooler than she thought, started to connect with him a bit deeper, and as their friendship grew and Joe realized he could trust her, they met more and more, even in Joe's off hours. Their dating wasn't really dating at first, at least, not offically. It was only after they kissed in the heat of the moment that they actually made it official. Eventually becoming life partners, as Dash explained that she simply wasn't interested in marriage and wasn't 'the marriage type'. Eventually, the two ended up having two children: a pegasus named 'Twister blitz' and a unicorn named 'Boston crème'.

Yeah! Finally, I get the motivation to make a family tree for my main MLP next gen-verse! The main next gen universe is called the 'Fox-verse' by the way, in reference to my username: FandomFOXfire.

Hell, she even, in desperation, took some of Rarity's advice, and started doing that 'girly flirting stuff'. Nothing worked! (Little did she realize: Sorin is Aro/Ace.) Rainbow became very well-aquanted to Canterlot's very own Donut Joe at that time. Joe found her complaining to him annoying at first, but eventually, it became one of the highlights, as Rainbow's personality was a breath of fresh air compared to the entitled snooty customers and Karens he had to deal with most of the time.

However, Rainbow began to notice some things about Joe. He seemed...off sometimes. Secretive and far more mysterious than he seemed on the surface. Rainbow eventually decided to sneak in and spy on him after hours, only to discover that Pinkie's previous theory about Donut Joe being a spy was actually true! Donut Joe, or his code name, 'Java', was a spy in the employ of the royal court. Rainbow was shocked, of course, and Donut Joe was just as surprised when Rainbow confessed to him that she knew his secret on his way home from the donut shoppe. Rainbow though promised to keep it a secret, by that point considering Donut Joe a good friend, and Rainbow being Rainbow, she was always loyal to her friends, and that meant keeping secrets. Rainbow, realizing Joe was way cooler than she thought, started to connect with him a bit deeper, and as their friendship grew and Joe realized he could trust her, they met more and more, even in Joe's off hours. Their dating wasn't really dating at first, at least, not offically. It was only after they kissed in the heat of the moment that they actually made it official. Eventually becoming life partners, as Dash explained that she simply wasn't interested in marriage and wasn't 'the marriage type'. Eventually, the two ended up having two children: a pegasus named 'Twister blitz' and a unicorn named 'Boston crème'.

Yeah! Finally, I get the motivation to make a family tree for my main MLP next gen-verse! The main next gen universe is called the 'Fox-verse' by the way, in reference to my username: FandomFOXfire.

Ya'll, I love these next gens, haha. Super rpoud of how most of these designs came out. (Except maybe the Luna x Thorax kid, Lunar Lotus, but other than them-)
