Once a normal human and Dr morbius came down with a diseases that would have killed him he began researching for a cure and found out there could be a cure in bat blood and it's DNA he began to work and tested it on himself and while it did cure him it also turned him into a full fledged vampire at first a Spider-Man villain hes become an anti hero and needing blood to survive he goes after street criminals and killers to quench the blood thirst and still searches for a cure for his new vampiriasim
