A little bit inspired by "Michael Parkes" and done for Francesco D´Isa´s p0rnsaints . org -project,
This one was an interesting collaboration.
Model is the beautiful Charlotte Stokely.
This ideally also depict my new straightedge for 2008,
so a wonderful new years eve to all of you!!
A limited print run of 20 from "pornsaints . org" will be available on a premium paper quality max. size 45 cm height.
And a Canvas on stretcher special edition of 25 signed and numbered in 50X100 cm size with a handpainted glossy structure -finish will be available also via request from www.fantasio.info!

Your subject is truly beautiful and strong at the same time...I don't know if you've seen "Burst Angel", but she could almost be an alternate version of Jo from that series.

Fabulous work, I see the Michael Parks inspiration, nicely done, the background also reminds me a little of Gustav Klimt. Really wonderful piece!

thanks, Yeah Klimt was also an inspiration, but as the approach is more graphical than painterly Parkes is closer on there.

I love this one, too. [Please note it seems I'm unable to dislike or even criticize any of your works. I'm just in awe everytime -- is there a cure to that? No, thanks, don't wanna heal.]
What's fascinates me in this is the multiplicity: it seems you used some mixed media to achieve the picture ("photomanipulation", right: but some parts look like a real, ancient painting, others look like a photograph; some elements could be drawings, too). Moreover the mix of old, traditionnal codes (isn't there a kind of tribute to Mucha or more widely to art deco? You also used elements which remind me of medieval paintings, visual odes to the Virgin) along with this oh-so-contemporary touch which is yours.
And here I am, facing the Beauty, mix of Light and Darkness, Ancient and Modern, Sensual and Spiritual...
You truly made my day -- not the less.

its a lot inspired by art nouveau and also art deco, and a lot of klimt and parkes, which was a phase- but i have also a similar idea for another piece which is a commission also, so i hope to finish it soon

I love it! I have always believed in angels especially gardian angels. I have gotten away from too many situations where I shouldn't have, and I know that I had help from beyond! Beautiful work!

Love the colors, the intensity, and her pose. If I were standing where she was, I'd expect it to be very hot, as if under a heat lamp or strong sun. Not sure why
