Gerda is a human student at SSS. She is Shimoyoshi's student and pupil, making her a superior student in SSS. She is known for her tasks of traveling to different realms to locate and fend of evil youkai or humans who possess magical abilities.

Personality:
Gerda as a straightforward and optimistic personality. Due to her status as Shimoyoshi's pupil and the head student, she can be domineering. For all her kindness, she was sometimes self-righteous, had a nasty temper, and could be fierce when provoked. She's highly devoted to her duties as the head student and rarely has time for herself, which may explain her grumpy attitude.

Ability:
Using spell cards
Unlike most characters, Gerda does not have her own abilities of a sort other than flight, a common ability for all youkai and mythical creatures alike. However, she is able to perfectly master spell cards on a whim. According to Shimoyoshi, Gerda possesses great magic that she is unaware off or know how to control, hence why she is given spell cards or magical artifacts to use it.

She is able to manipulate any form of magic and power with these cards, from teleportation, elemental usage, aura manipulation, and even summoning mythical creatures.

Occupation:
Head student of SSS
Gerda is the top student in SSS, largely due to being trained by it's founder Shimoyoshi herself. She rarely has low grades and is involved with the school staff.

Aside from being a head student, Gerda is also Shimoyoshi's apprentice. Most of her tasks has her travel to various different realms in search of rampaging youkai to turn them in to the youkai realm or humans who possess supernatural abilities.

Possessions:

As stated above, Gerda is a master of using spell cards so it is likely that she owns an unlimited supply of them. Other than using them for combat, Gerda uses them as protection charms or wards, similar to ofuda, which she is also able to master.

History:
Little is known about Gerda's life before becoming a student in SSS. Since she is a human who is attending a school for youkai, it is assumed that Shimoyoshi took her in when she was at a very young age to her her magical abilities. The identity of her real parents are unkown, but according to Shimoyoshi, she was found wearing rags and wandering near the edge of the forest.

Relationships:
Shimoyoshi is Gerda's mistress, teacher and guardian. While Gerda shows loyal and utmost respect towards Shimoyoshi, she is shown to have some bitter feelings towards her. Presumably her secret human heritage.

Gerda is known and beloved by many of her schoolmates. Although, she acknowledges that she is the only human (minus Tojeriko), she never address herself as one or a youkai. She tends to be a little bossy, though she does show respect towards others.

Gerda is in a relationship with Kemon, whom she had met previously while on a mission to 'take in a chimera'. Despite Kemon's antics, she does love him and doesn't want him getting into trouble.
