I think the blue borders are a bit... bleh.

Everything else is wonderful... I think it'd be better with white frames.

Much better, I think the pink works because it's the same color as some of the pinks in the actual fractal.

I would have never noticed this on my own, but now that you have mentioned it, I agree, they almost look tacky. Stay posted for white frames...

I diplomatically avoided that word I also think that in most cases of light-on-dark, a 1px dividing border looks best, unless part of a more elaborate construction.

Most welcome, and I think greatly improved. Something about that colour was too distracting - I don't get the same impression from your other works with coloured borders, so it seems it's just a one-off.
