Hmm. I don't think I like the white background on this. The colors, especially the yellow, tend to disappear against the white, whereas they wouldn't against a black backround- in fact, they would pop even more. The white lines throughout the fractal make it seem a bit unfinished to me. The dark blue areas definitely pop, and I think if more of the upper left area was dark blue, or at least edged in dark blue, the composition would seem more balanced and not as washed out. I do like the pink edging around the yellow areas. I guess I like a lot of individual areas of the fractal, but not the whole, because nothing seems to pull the whole composition together.
On the other hand, very few fractal artists try using any background color other than black, so props for that, and keep up the good work! It is very nice to see new experiments. Keep up the good work!

When I'm working in Ultra Fractal I tend not to think in terms of background and foreground, but I see what you're getting at. Thanks!
