Hey guys, today I’m proud to release this new illustration that I’ve been working on intermittently for the past 2-3 weeks. Apologies for my brief absence - I was on vacation in Korea for a week which I had a blast! Now that I’m back, let me begin this series with a quick announcement📣

I will be participating in a local digital art exhibition in mid-May, where I will be featuring 6 city landscapes of my choice. As some of you elite followers may know, I typically focus on Japanese elements when it comes to landscapes. The first creation I found on Pinterest that I believe has the desired city quality, bordering on cyberpunk vibes, which I greatly enjoy, is the one I’ll be sharing today. I’m not sure if there will be a cohesive storyline across all 6 pieces, but I believe this is a strong starting point. I’ve chosen a location in the heart of Akihabara 🇯🇵(秋葉原) as it offers many elements to play with, such as a train arriving at its platform, a large game center (formerly known as Sega) where I’ve added an upcoming Sonic game called Sonic Frontier, as well as various billboards and objects at different angles.

The most challenging aspect of this illustration was creating a dusk ambiance, which I think I’ve improved upon comparison to my previous sunset landscapes, though it could be slightly better with more time. Nonetheless, I had fun bringing this piece to life (I hope)🥳
