It wouldn't have looked nice if the rose was positioned to the side... also, you don't know how the ice cube would look with a black background.

I really like the cream background. It's warmth gives contrast to the coldness of the rose.

I've seen frozen roses before, but not like this. This is absolutely beautiful! The ice makes the colors of the rose so amazingly vibrant... Such a beautiful piece!
