Last night I went to a figure drawing session nearby to practice a bit for uni applications. I struggled a lot, it was the first time for me drawing a male model so I had struggles with anatomy. Also I find charcoal a bit difficult to handle at times (and I forgot my sharpener, so this struggle was real!) I then decided to make my sketches a bit more abstract and I liked them a lot more like that.What are your tips for improving figure drawing? I still have a lot to learn in this field, so any advice is much appreciated!

A great set of sketches! The shading is really cool, I've actually done something similiar in some of my chalk drawings. I especially love the one in the top left corner; the hands and lines are gorgeous!
