The soundtrack of life is strange was good. And Daugther did the soundtrack for before the storm…it was amazing.
Video games soundtrack are very good most of the time. I really like the soundtrack of shadow of the colossus, it’s iconic

I do enjoy them too. Maybe Shadow of the Colossus ost is a bit to dark for me to listen often compared to the others. It's great but like the game it gives me the creeps. Ico has a great soundtrack too (same composer than the first fma anime!), but I think my favorites are probably NieR and NieR Automata osts. And of course Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy X.

why it doesn’t suprise me that the guy did the shadow of the colossus ost and the fma one :’) they are both pretty good
didn’t listen to ico soundtrack (listen to the last guardian ost tho), I have high hopes for it

I also listen to japanese animated movie soundtrack while drawing or studying. Last year, I was listening to the Boy and the Beast soundtrack while studying for my final exam. And before that, I remember listening to the ost of Wolf children when I was drawing something peacefull.

The composer who did Ico soundtrack is the one who made the fma ost, not SotC, it's a different person I think. I really suggest you the Ico ost, to me it's one of the best osts of all time. It's really simple but works perfectly. "Castle in the Mist" or "Heal" are too pleasant to listent to.
The Last Guardian deceived me a bit, but hey it happens.
If you haven't I recommend you the Darren Korb osts on Supergiant Games: Bastion, Transistor and Pyre have excellent soundtracks, it's ideal to work with.
I also enjoy the Yume Niki ost (I think it's a remixed ost, it's by 24EFFECTS or something), and not in videogames a great friend of mine made me discover Sasakure, who makes very peaceful songs.
There is also Floex who makes really atmospheric stuff, and Riverside (I guess it's "alternative rock" or something XD)

In the wolf children soundtrack, my favorite is « danse with your nature ». The song from the snow scene, my favorite scene in the movie.
I will try to find the ico ost (it’s not on spotify apparently) but I mean, I loved the soundtrack of the two other games so I have high hopes for this one. I like the soundtrack of the last guardian, not all the songs' some were just…normal but my favorite is the « forest » i think. In the game, it’s the song that it plays when trico and the boy discover the towers and the feeling of… "the world is bigger than you think" is pretty nice (i don’t know how to describe that feeling sorry)

For a video game soundtrack…well, I really like Rime ost. The game wasn’t that good but the soundtrack is really nice.
Other soundtrack that I love (those are movies soundtrack but well)
- Lion ost (it came out in 2016. It’s a film about a child who tries to find home)
- Inception ost (specially the song « time »)
- Spirited away soundtrack. Annd Princess Mononoke soundtrack (i really like the song mononoke hime)
and last recommendations (that aren’t from movies or video games)
-Mitski. (She does a kind of music that makes you feel nostalgic and melancolic. Her lyrics are very nice)
- the album Every Country’s sun (by Mogwai). It makes me remember to the Life is strange ost
- the song Renaissance from Paolo Bunovino and Skin. It’s just a wonderful song

The perks of being a wallflower? What is it? I google it and it says it’s a movie about high school…is it a good one? (We never know with movies about high school. Some are good and other are…mistakes)

No no this one is really really good. It's taking place in high school but it talks about more serious stuff. Like trauma.
I never cry when watching a movie but this one gosh...It has similariries with Life is Strange in the atmosphere...no paranormal or anything, but there is something really peaceful.
