Soooo this is what I've been reduced to without my precious MacBook. Practice doodles of Pokemon haha.Hopefully this will help me to refine my own designs and notice elements on official ones I may have overlooked in my own!

aww fun, i like this style. is it supposed to be the shiny version or did you just not color the bg black
what is that art style whee it's like only half the lines are there but your eye tricks you and completes it, that's what this reminds me of, although it's just the face i can almost see the whole head/design

haha, I forgot the shiny was white. It was the general version (the chin strap is coloured the navy-black), but I like the idea of it being interpreted as the shiny too!
I thought, given how striking his eyes and RED are, that I'd just leave it as it was. I was afraid if I tried to continue on that I might ruin it somehow, and I liked my attempt thus far, haha.
