Movie poster/fauxster for a sequel to "The Lost Boys" film. This piece was originally made before "Lost Boys: The Tribe" had been written and rumors were the sequel could have either been "The Lost Girls" or "The Lost Boys: Devil May Cry". yeah they do need to do it right the 3rd time around i mean number 2 was cool but a vampire clearly said in number one ''garlic dont work boys'' yet in number to edgar frogg tiries to use the garlic throwy thngy and misses then finishing off the guy with holy water...why would he try use garlic if he knew it woudnt work...regardless..still my fave vamp movie evvaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I don't think the 3rd movie (Lost Boys: The Thirst) will knock it out of the park, but at least it will have BOTH Frogg Brothers in the film. I did hear the 4th film will have Corey Haim involved in a big way (check out the article here , but I somehow doubt any of the sequels would capture the 'magic' of the original film (as per usual with direct-to-DVD sequels).

yeah true....isnt the second frogg brother now a vamp..coz i was watchin the special features of number 2 and sam says to edgar that his brother is coming to town and it shows a vamp in a car

If only they hadn't made The Tribe, that was awful compared to the first Lost Boys movie (Which is my all-time favourite film and gave me a nickname). Lets hope they make a decent film this time without annoying vampires.
And lets hope to god they don't sparkle.

I didn't think "The Tribe" was THAT terrible (for a straight-to-DVD-no-named-actors-acting kind of flick), there was just absolutely no way it would have ever lived up to the original. At least not without more returning cast members (I don't count Haim's 2 second appearance).

On it's own, it would've been OK, but when compared to the original, it's not great.
To be honest, I didn't really like any of the new characters besides Chris Emerson (Autumn Reeser's character could be a little annoying). That and The Tribe contradicts the original movie ( 'Garlic don't work, boys!' ) Other than that, I have no major gripes.

There are rumors that a third entry is in the works focusing more on the Frog Bros, which could give the series a refreshing direction (The Tribe was a little too close to the original in terms of plot). That'd be nice. Maybe I'll make a poster for that one too!

A third is in the works with the focus being on Corey Feldman's character. The "Devil May Cry" was the original idea (before "The Tribe" and after "Lost Girls"), so that's what I went with. Wish they'd bring back Keifer Sutherland, but it probably won't happen.

Yeeah, I doubt the return of David would happen . . . but you never know! I don't think it would be played by Keifer, though, he's too much of a big-shot know and . . . would he have aged??

However, I've already seen a bootleg of it online, and own a copy of the download, and I'll tell you right now, it's absolutely HORRIBLE...it's the ultimate insult to any true fan of the first movie. Warner Brothers has taken everything we all knew and loved about the first movie, put it in a blender, added a sh*t sandwich and then tried to hand it back to us. The only part of it worth watching is at the very end after the cast credits, you see a single scene that Corey Haim is in....Sam Emerson is back...and he's not too happy >:}Which means they might be making a 3rd.

"Devil May Cry" was a possible subtitle for the sequel before they decided on "The Tribe"

There was a film a couple of years ago called The Lost Girls [link] but as far as I know it is not connected with the Los Boys although there are talk of vampires in this movie.

I completely agree with you! I mean, The Lost Boys was my absolute favorite movie! I'd LOVE for a sequel. I read the "Lost Girls" script and it was really good. I wish it would've been made into an actual movie. If they do ever make a sequel (which I'm hoping for), I'd love to see the old cast return. Especially the Corey's. I loved them.

I heard the David guy was the only true lost boy wanting to return and the two corys were gonna do it but only one was offerd the job then both then they got into a big fight and stopped talking to eachothers and thats all know*smiles big smile while brething heavily* Lost Girls would be awsome but the original cast would be better!
