Few finally done with this~ This was the first time I worked with a character like this
so it was quite a challenge."Something that has to do with night" and that river
passing example gave me the chance to use the concept of "waterlilly stepping" that has been
floating in my head for quite a while now.
I got some plans for canine art as a lil break from commissions no worries ~

Those Nymphaeas caught my eye instantly. I really like how you used the idea of "water path" here.
The background is absolutely beautiful. The tree trunks are a total treat! Wonderful texture.
What I like the most are all these little details that allow the eye to rest without losing interest,
like for example the little koi fishy 
even drawing nature, you like to add some industrial elements into them, such as this beautiful bird house (if i am not mistaken) and those nice marble stairs, without losing the value of the "nature" itself.

details in my bgs, plain nature sometimes feels empty in a way.
