We were asked to redesign a Generation V fakemon. I was going to do Pidove's line (geez, the American nomenclature sounds LAME), but eventually I changed my mind and chose Wargle instead, because it's much more awesome, but there are some things about it that I would have changed if I had designed it.

Washibon's revamp is basically an updated version of my speculative Wargle pre-evo . I fixed the feather arrangements to look more like the actual thing, and changed up some of the colors, but otherwise, it's the same ol' Aergle.

Wargle fucking owns, true, but it still leaves something to be desired. The two big changes I made were the wing structure - since it did away with the trademark spalyed edge feathers and distinctive broad shape, I gave the redo a more Pidgeot-ish double-tiered wing style - and the head shape, specifically alteration of the trademark bonnet and reshaping of the beak to make it look more dangerous.

Many of you may ask why I like Wargle so much. Well, my response is: Bald eagles pwn. 'Nuff said.
