I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, but it sure was a wild year—for art, and just about everything else. I had a lot of productive periods, though, so I can only be grateful. I can't say I'm pleased with the direction everything went in, but I think I also learned some lessons about my style, some bad habits I want to unlearn, and about what I want to strive for artistically in the future. Not ending the year in the most enthusiastic of places, but one of my definite Resolutions is to try to carry on and keep drawing, even when those 'I'm never going to draw again' mood strikes.

Onward and upwards! Hopefully we can all make art we're proud of in 2019!
