So, pottery is not my strong point, but I'm still incredibly proud of this set. Again a high school project, actually my last one I did all year. The idea was to take a story or some sort of literature and make it into a piece. I chose to do the legend of the zodiac and thus created each animal, including the cat which is part of the legend, and then made a base for it all. Amazing enough, nothing broke, though I was terrified the whole time I made them and especially when they went in the kiln. Painted with acrylics, not glaze due to time and so they wouldn't look silly at the bottom.And yes, my friends and I were making fruit basket references a lot. Twas fun.

Super cool! I love the simple colors, and that cat! Yay! I haven't watched Fruits Basket in forever.. so I've since forgotten the story of the cat, but I love that you included it. I did read somewhere that the rabbit and the cat are one in the same.. though I don't think that's true.. lol.

He's the last one of the white set, and so he's on the far right at the very top next to the rooster. Sadly I didn't do so well making him, he was the hardest for people to recognize, but meh, learn from your mistakes
