Ichiro and Jiro are keatons based on the ones from The Minish Cap.

Ichiro and Jiro were the brains (and kind of the power as well) of Midas' gang. The two were the last recruits before Danda-Lyn and were the only non-deku bandits. In that day and age, it was strange seeing two keatons traveling with the deku bandits. But they added a new level of intelligence and intimidation. Chiro and Jiro are able to communicate via their minds and are always on the same wavelength. They are fast, lethal, and leave nothing. Only difference between the two is that Jiro is slightly more gentle and kindhearted than Chiro. Regardless of this difference, the two remain close.

Midas, Kaiser, and Pyne found Chiro and Jiro in the hands of hunters. Midas had planned another raid when he discovered some poachers, thanks to his disdain toward them. He and Kaiser had slain the kidnapping poachers as Pyne discovered a small warehouse. Knowing they were to find still living captors, they investigated the property and found a few creatures still on the road for skinning. Ichiro and Jiro were among them. After, literally, saving their skin, Midas gave them the chance to join his crew. Both Midas and the twin keatons had bad blood with poachers. Midas' brother having been killed and skinned by poachers, the keatons understood that his word was honest and he really wanted to help.
